AIA Contract Documents names Levelset founder Scott Wolfe CEO ahead of 2027 update
Brian Megless also joins as chief marketing officer, giving ACD two leaders with Levelset experience as it prioritizes technology development.
AIA Contract Documents named Levelset founder Scott Wolfe chief executive ahead of a 2027 once-a-decade documents release, pairing a former construction lawyer with a technology buildout the company says is now a priority. The company announced the appointment Oct. 20, 2026.
Wolfe founded Levelset, the construction payments business Procore acquired for $500 million in 2021. He has served on ACD’s board since August 2025.
ACD also appointed Brian Megless chief marketing officer, adding another executive with Levelset experience. Megless has more than 25 years of experience building demand, marketing and revenue teams, with roles at Procore, Levelset and Prokeep. His responsibilities include company growth, customer engagement and relationships with association partners.
The company said its priorities under the new leadership include investing in talent, strengthening technology capabilities and speeding development of tools for construction professionals.
ACD says its agreements and forms support more than $100 billion in contract value annually and cover work from contracting through project closeout. The next major release, scheduled for 2027, is a once-a-decade update to agreements used by owners, architects and contractors.
